I remember Perla from when we were kids in Union City, N.J. I remember her infectious laugh and the way she brightened up a room. I had not seen her since the mid-eighties but I never forgot her. Rest in peace, my friend.

Perla Espinal (a graduate of Westminster Choir College, not Princeton University) died recently. Her friends from Westminster found out today (October 18, 2010). A terrible tragedy. Rest in peace, Perla.

R.I.P she was my teacher for many years she was the one who found my voice and showed me how to use it. i wish she was still alive. i love her so much! she was also my piano teacher, i wanted her to tech my daughters things she has taught me. you will always be missed. i love you!
